Excellent machine

My first floor model band saw. Compared to the 'toy' bandsaws that I've endured over the past years, my Grizzly G0555X band saw is like a breath of fresh air. Shipping and boxes/packing were excellent. Instructions for setup really good. This has become the most used machine in my shop (table saw, miter saw, jointer, thickness planer, sander, drill press, router and, now a new bandsaw). I love this machine and brag and demo it to anybody that ventures even near my shop. But I would suggest 2 improvements: a lifting eye for setting the saw on its pedestal and a brake to stop the blade from coasting after shut off (28 seconds). Both suggestions are really petty improvements and are probably available in the more expensive machines. This bandsaw has to be a grand-slam success for Grizzly. It sure is for me.
