This RV Adapter by PopUp lets you tow your fifth wheel trailer with a standard 2 5/16" gooseneck hitch ball. A single progressive shock dampening cushion combined with a special anti-friction inner sleeve tames bucking and bouncing some truck/trailer combinations create, providing a smoother ride. The cushion is maintenance free, unlike other systems that use air bags. It's the strongest, safest, easiest to install, and most versatile fifth wheel adapter made. It features 7.5'' offset that allows for shorter turns, especially needed with short bed trucks. The product has 4 inches of height adjustment in 1'' increments from 13.5" to 17.5" measured from top of ball to king pin plate to accommodate different height trucks and trailers. To make your towing experience more convenient, this RV adapter is fitted with a self-latching coupler. The coupler latches when the trailer is lowered onto the ball. It has a hole for a padlock and a molded hitching guide to make coupling easier. To uncouple, simply pull a release cable located near the trailer jack handle. The adapter can handle a gross trailer weight of up to 24,000 lbs. and a gross tongue weight of up to 6,000 lbs.
