Excellent fan! Works great! Comes on perfectly!

Awesome fan! Comes on regularly and reliably for years now! Ventilating the attic is very important! Get it before you face costly roof repairs and replacement! It actually makes your house cooler in the summer as well.

35316 works as designed

I purchased a house where the two old gable fans no longer were operational. I found the 35316 on-line at Amazon.com and ordered two fans. My contractor installed them with light switches so I could manually turn them off without using the built-in thermostats. As it turns out, one of the fans failed to work when I turned it on. The contractor checked that there was power to the fan. I called Broan and they immediately sent me a new thermostat and motor. As it turned out, the original motor was defective - DOA, but the thermostat was OK. I unbolted the fan from the housing and disconnected the wiring and installed the replacement motor into the housing and reconnected the wiring. The customer service person was very helpful telling me that I needed about 4 square feet venting/fan for each fan to operate properly and that I should set the thermostat to about 30 degrees above the normal room temperature for each attic. This was very useful since the fan that was working was on all the time because I set the thermostat temperature too low at 80 degrees causing the fan to stay on all the time. Broan makes good stuff! My stove top exhaust fan is still in perfect condition after 50 years of service. I highly recommend Broan for the quality of their products and honoring their warranties.
