Quality decline

These used to be a staple for my allergy kiddo - but it seems the recipe has changed recently and now they have the appearance of being "burnt". Not sure if this is a quality control issue or if this is the new product. Hoping this is just a fluke and the product will return to normal.

it's good for the price but I think the must have changed their recipe because they don't taste the same. it's like there is a lot of air between the breading and the meat and I wouldn't buy them anymore if I wasn't on a fixed income they just aren't the same

Recently must have changed and they are gross.

We used to buy these all the time and the past two batches were so chewy and awful. Thought it was maybe a freezer thing but after the second bag we bought and put in a different freezer, it was not tasty and very chewy. My daughter said they taste bad and we all tried them and she was correct. I’m not sure what changed; they used to be good.
