Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish not made to last

Installed oil rubbed bronze four sprays in our shower about five years ago and the finish is peeling off (not hard water stains) for the last year. Actual finish is peeling off all four and they look awful. Very disappointed and we have soft water throughout the house. Spray works well and pressure is good along with coverage.
