Can't wear the earrings

These earrings are so nice, but can't wear them, they hang backwards, the gold side is all you see, the hooks were not put on properly, no matter how you twist and turn them, you can't fix them ! Is the company were of the issue with these earrings. I love them, but not on my ears, that's why I gave them one star! What a shame, can't be worn! So disappointed!!!! $9 down the drain! It's not like they were couple dollars, I bought a couple of Christmas earrings, that cost $2 and 99 cents, and there nice! These are designed wrong!!!
