STARTECH.COM SV231DPDDUA2 4K DUAL-MONITOR KVM SWITCH FOR DISPLAYPORT COMPUTERS AND MONITORS

Covers the basics, with dual monitor 60 hz 4k support, with a mouse and keyboard and 2 usb devices. I found that the average displayport cables did not work well with this, leading to the monitors flickering off and on or other screen artifacts. Had to buy 4 different sets of displayport 1.4 cables from amazon until I found a pair that worked. However, does not support plugging USB Hubs into the switch, to extend to more USB devices. Also does not support disabling the beep sound which changing machines, or keyboard hotkeys to change machines.

Product doesn't work with any keyboard or mouse combination that I have purchased whether that be wired or wireless from either Logitech or Microsoft. It doesn't recognise my HP Elitebook, only my Dell Optiplex and I would have raised this further with Startech's ‘claimed' 24 hour support, however it's not available 24 hours a day. I would try to diagnose and rectify this further myself, but Startech have very limited information online for product setup and support. Very expensive product for such a poor experience.
