Crayola Colored Pencil Set, 36 Ct, Arts & Crafts, School Supplies, GIfts for Kids and Artists

I love art. I love coloring. And I love incorporating arts and crafts into our family’s homeschool. I personally use higher-end colored pencils by Prismacolor and Faber-Castell’s Polychromos when drawing, but when I color and assign projects for school, we only use Crayola. Crayola pencils are the best student level pencils we’ve used. They do have a higher wax content than higher-end brands, which means you can’t achieve as many color layers before the paper’s ability to take more color becomes maxed out, but I feel that Crayola colored pencils provide a wonderful amount of color and blend nicely. The colors lay down rather smoothly, and the pencils usually sharpen well because the waxed color stick housed within the wooden casing is typically properly centered (which I cannot always say about my Prismacolors), therefore making the pencils less prone to breaking while being sharpened therefore allowing your pencils to last longer. My kids and I enjoy using these products immensely. The color on the pencil casing is true to the shade of the pencil, and I feel that the pencils hold a point well. I also love the affordability and consistency of quality. I have included two pictures to demonstrate the quality of the product and some of the effects I was able to achieve with them. The picture of the girl with the horse is a coloring page from the internet and was printed on standard printer paper, so the black outlines of the characters are printer ink, all other colors are Crayola. The picture of the love birds I drew on Strathmore 400 Series medium surface Drawing Paper. I am well pleased with Crayola products. In our homeschool we regularly use their colored pencils, watercolors, paper, crayons, and markers. In this household we are huge Crayola fans!
