Solo Apricot Filling, 12 oz (Pack of 6)

I've used this product for at least 30 years. It's the best. It also goes under the brand name Baker's. Unlike jellies that ooze out of cookies onto the cookie sheet, Solo fillings are very thick and stay inside the cookies. I use them when making Kolachy that have two open ends.

I don't know why Solo cake and pastry filling is so hard to find. It's fantastic stuff for baking. It's absolutely great for Kolacky cookies. I'm not sure of the name but maybe it's thumbprint cookies, where you fill your thumbprint . They also have delicious flavors besides your basic prune. There's apricot, strawberry, cherry, almond, raspberry. It maintains it's texture after baking and I can't find any fault in quality or flavor. Come on bakers give it a try! You don't know what you're missing.
