Kichler Courtyard 903 Outdoor Wall Lantern - Rubbed Bronze

I just bought 5 of these lights. I like that they are a little on the small side. I think some outside lights tend to be a bit too big and clunky so that's a good thing. They just have one simple light bulb to replace from the bottom. It could not be easier. I have a flame LED bulb installed and they look really nice at night. I hope the finish holds up over the years and they last a long time. The installation was easy and the quality of the hardware was very good. The only tools you need are a Philips head screw driver, a small level. A small wire cutter/stripper never hurts to have either.

I am a retired electrician/contractor/designer, and have, over the course of my 40+ year career, installed thousands of light fixtures. In my opinion, this item is a high-quality, well-made unit. The cast aluminum construction is substantial; the glass panels/canopy are held in place by well-formed slots, and that portion of the assembly is secured with stainless steel screws. The socket compartment is sealed with silicone, as is the wiring nipple (see photos). The mounting hardware is high-quality, and the bracket has locknuts to secure its final position from movement. There are no sharp or jagged edges anywhere on the fixture, and the paint looks and feels as though it might actually be powder-coating. In all, this is a quality product, and should last years without any appreciable deterioration. The Kichler reputation is well-earned.
