Bagley Farm's Garden Vegetable Soup Starter

Garden Vegetable Soup Starter features a delicious medley of vegetables in a twelve vegetable and herb broth. This soup is full of chunks of potatoes, carrots, onions, celery, tomatoes, spinach, and red and green bell peppers. Make a hearty stew with this versatile soup mix by adding cubes of your favorite cooked meat.

How to make:

Garden Vegetable Soup Mix

2 1/2  of quarts water 

Pour the soup mix into the water; stir it and let it set for 5 minutes. Bring the whole mix to a boil; stirring frequently. Reduce to a simmer for 30 minutes; remove from heat; cover and let steam for 5 minutes. Add sodium-free seasoning or salt & pepper to taste. Options: You may add any variety of fresh vegetables to customize your stew. Ground beef, sausage or chicken could also be added to make a hearty meat stew.

Makes 2 1/2 quarts soup.  Entire package makes approximately 5 servings of soup.
