This is a 1/2" thick, 6" × 27" (measures 5.8" × 26.8") piece of King StarBoard® AS. It is Black with a diamond pattern on one side of the sheet and a matte finish on the other. MATERIAL INFORMATION King StarBoard® AS is an anti-skid, marine-grade, high-density polyethylene sheet. It is the product of a proprietary process called K-Stran™, the most advanced manufacturing process for superior flatness and consistency. King StarBoard® AS has a dot or diamond pattern on one side of the sheet and a matte finish on the other side. The special, high-friction anti-skid surface helps prevent slipping and promotes drainage. It is environmentally stabilized to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. King StarBoard® AS will not rust, delaminate or rot when exposed to UV, humidity or water. It is ideal for a variety of high-traffic marine applications from decking and swim platforms to ladder steps where traction is critical. The polymer sheet never needs painting or refinishing, works like wood, and is easy to fabricate with common woodworking tools and techniques. HANDLING & CARE To clean everyday dirt and stains, use a cleaner such as Soft Scrub® and a nylon scrubby or stiff nylon brush. Scrub lightly; excess force can mar the finish. For persistent stains and marks, use a bleach solution (not 100% chlorine), Goof Off®, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser®, or GOJO® Orange Pumice Hand Cleaner. To clean a petroleum stain such as grease or oil, use a citrus cleaner, alcohol or mineral spirits. In severe cases, spray stains with WD40®. Then, use toluene or acetone and a white nylon scrub pad.
