This is great! Most people teaching the technique, even book authors fail to explain how to achieve the third layer which is the most difficult one. I have paid more money for books from other authors that claim teaching you the technique but they leave you hanging on the third layer. The author of this pattern explains and gives clues on how to achieve it. She also offers the option of a video that will visually back up the explanation given in this pattern. There are two other variations she mention on the back cover of the pattern, the solid and the Ombre stars that although she does not go in details in the pattern, if you understand the main pattern as it is explained and understand how she numbers and positions the strips by colors on the main pattern, the Ombre variation that would be the most difficult of the two would be easily achieved and would be your decision how you want to position the color gradient to create the Ombre effect. Worthy for the money if you are interested in this kind of stuff!
