The lamp offers high quality: It comes fully assembled (no seams), there are felt pads where the shade sits into its nest and the base is solid and completely lined with felt, the base and inside sections of the lamp holder are hammered for exquisite texture. The light rosy, amber-colored glass shade is “seeded” – complementing the texture on the base. (not overly gold toned, more of a sheer nutmeg) The lamp post stem color is brownish black and blends well with other black accessories you may own. The cord is a clear blond to match wood floors or lighter wool carpets.
