If you are looking for value in a frig/freezer with an ice maker, you have found it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great value. Basic refrigerator /freezer. Freezer on top with ice maker and frig on the bottom. I would include a pic but I assume that reviewers know what one looks like. ( grow up people) Real bang for the buck for real people who want an appliance that will last!

So far i love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love it. We have an unusually small space for the refrigerator in our kitchen. This one fits and the overall dimensions are only a couple inches different from the previous one, but somehow seems to have so much more space inside.

Frigidaire 18.3-cu ft Refrigerator with Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this fridge for about two weeks now and it has met our needs nicely. We are space constrained so we had to stick with something in the 18 Cu Ft range. For reference, there are two adults and no children in the house and the fridge is in the kitchen. The stainless finish is only on the doors and shows fingerprints pretty easily. The rest of the box is the typical dark gray on the sides and the top. The front and sides are magnetic and it has rollers at all four corners. These are not pivoting wheels, they are just one-direction rollers to allow the unit to roll straight out or in. The initial cooldown was pretty quick going from about 78 degrees down to 36 degrees in less than 5 hours. We knew it did NOT have a freezer light but are still disappointed by that missing convenience. The User Manual says to level the cabinet and align the doors but gives zero guidance on how that might be accomplished since there is nothing adjustable about the doors or rollers. The Manual also says if you need to increase ice production just turn the freezer temp to a colder setting. However, the ice maker runs on a 100 to 160 minute timer so getting the freezer colder won't make MORE ice, it just makes COLDER ice. It makes 10 cubes per batch, with each cube being about half the size of a golf ball. It took about four days to make a full bucket of ice without any ice being used during that time. I'm hoping the plastic ice cube tray continues to fully release the ice forever and doesn't start to fragment the ice as it tries to eject it from the tray. If fragmentation happens I think the ice tray will overflow water since there won't be enough room for the scheduled amount of water that comes in. The unused lower door hinge (the one sticking out where you open the door) is about 1.5" off the floor and sticks out about 2.5" from the front of the cabinet when the door is open - prime location for stubbing a toe. I've only gotten mine once so far. The glass shelves do NOT contain spills (no lip around the edge). Temp control is fairly consistent within about a 6 degree range for us. I've got the temp control set straight up at the recommended setting and it averages around 34 or 35 degrees. The freezer is also set at the recommended setting and runs between 0 and -5. You may see a broader range depending on how much you have the door open. I thought we had a 2 degree difference between the fridge top shelf and the middle shelf but it turned out to be a container on the top shelf was partly blocking the air vent feeding the top shelf. I have a digital thermometer in the center of each shelf. These are leftover from our 28 year old fridge that was having temp control problems. Noise doesn't seem to be any louder than what we had and I'm looking forward to lower energy usage with this unit being Energy Star rated and Garage Ready (better insulated). Except for the lack of a freezer light, I'm happy with the purchase.
