Stove Top: Empty chili into saucepan. Stir occasionally while heating over medium heat, about 10 minutes or until hot. Microwave: Empty chili into microwavable bowl; cover loosely. This is one of those rare exceptions where my family won't allow me to buy the generic brand. They MUST have the original Hormel Chili, and it must be NO BEANS. I have tried the cheaper brands and they both look and taste different. Runnier, and just not good in general. Even when I once bought the Hormel Chili with beans (which is slightly cheaper) they got mad at me and told me that it MUST be without beans. OK lesson learned. I will not repeat that mistake! My family uses this exclusively to make "dip" which is a can of this mixed with Velveeta cheese, melted together then eaten with tortilla chips. My husband has been making that dish since he was in junior high actually, so this recipe is kind of like a family heirloom. It's the first "meal" he ever prepared for me when we dated in high school. How romantic, right?
