this is the best brand of thread and has been around forever. other brands are poor quality and get messed up in your sewing machine causing it to malfunction and breaks the threads which slows down the progress of of what you're making.tis very annoying. that's never an issue with this brand of thread. they also have the best selection of color variations to match the fabrics .

The brand is one I always look for. With anything I make that requires thread, I always purchase Coats %26 Clark's if available. No other is as durable, and can handle anything from an evening gown to little boys jeans. The thread is colorfast, and won't fade out as some do, so if I'm patching something, I can count on the color to match the piece, and stay matching it through as many washings as it gets! All thread is made up of twisted fibers. On some brands, those fibers may untwist wherever it has been cut. But not Coats %26 Clark's. I can count on not having a seam unravel! I give five stars, and a big thumbs up! And I highly recommend it for all your sewing needs.
