Read and follow instructions on enclosed leaflet. Before coloring, do the allergy test and strand test. With gloves on, open tube 1 and squeeze contents into bottle 2; shake. Apply to hair according to the instructions and timing in the enclosed leaflet. Rinse and shampoo. Apply the HydraShine Conditioner (3). Dry and style your hair and admire your bright, bold color! After 2 weeks, apply the Color Boost Glaze to recharge and boost your color! With gloves on, apply the Color Boost Glaze to clean, damp hair; Leave it for 2-5 minutes; Rinse, style and enjoy!

I don't know if it's because of the red I started off with, or if it's this color previous color, but it "fades" into a beautiful vibrant red. The color in the photo is slightly off, with red being decently noticeable. It's still a beautiful color purple. But if you want a more purpley-purple, try something different!
