BLACK+DECKER HHVK320J61 Dustbuster AdvancedClean+ Handheld Vacuum

I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner. I give it an A-. It has very good suction on my carpet and bare floors, which is the most important feature to me. It has such good suction that I have the height adjustment knob on four, so it won't get stuck to the carpet floor. One (bare floor) is lowest to the ground, and seven is highest off the ground. Same goes for bare floor it has such good suction that if too close to the floor it will suck itself stuck :). I can go as low as 3 on bare floors without it getting stuck to the floor. The hose has really good suction too, and nice that is stretches so far. Very easy to use since just have to flip the Floor/Hose lever to use the hose. The triangular dust tool works pretty good, but at times seems to have not enough suction or it ends up getting stuck to the surface vacuuming. I bought the smaller dusting brush, which fits where the triangular dust brush goes. It has great suction and doesn't get stuck to surfaces as easily as the triangular dust brush. It is also smaller, so works better in tight spots. I don't have a pet, but i am sure the pet tool works good for pet hair. I love the 40 foot cord. I like the way it looks. It is heavy or definitely not light. I don't have stairs, so not a real big problem for me. The three filters work great. The dust can fills up with very fine dirt, or very tiny particles. I have never seen a vacuum cleaner fill with such fine dirt residue. It doesn't look like much dust, if any, is escaping back into the room. It is has a 5 year limited warranty, so that is very nice.

I ordered this vacuum as a replacement for a dust devil. The first time I used it I was amazed at how much dirt it got off the floor. This is also the first vacuum I've ever had that the upholstery attachments actually remove pet hair from the furniture(2 dogs and a cat). It's fairly light weight and the canister and filters are very easy to clean. I am very happy with this vacuum and would recommend it to anyone, especially people with large dogs.
