26" Kent Del Rio Cruiser Bike, Adult, Ages 13+, Magenta

My wife and I moved from hilly northern IL to flat, flat, flat lower DE near the beach. Our 10-speed bikes were really nonessential -- too many bells and whistles for what we now need as retirees. All but the most serious bikers in our community use cruiser bikes, so I shopped around for one for my wife, and found the Kent 26" cruiser online at Walmart. Thought it was too good to be true, so I checked it out. Great bike: it has the best of both bike types -- 7 speeds, but it has a wide, thick seat and cruiser-style tires. While it appears to be easy to assemble, I opted to have Walmart assemble it -- it's free, so why not? Bottom Line: My wife loves it, because it has twist-grip handlebar shifting, handbrake levers, and a wide, riser handlebar that gives her more balance and lets her feel steadier when riding. An outstanding bike from a long-established manufacturer at an incredible price!

I haven't biked in 20 yrs...so I wanted a comfortable, hot looking bike! This one is for you...magenta color, white wheels, and I added a basket and a bell. My kids are so happy to be biking all together. I had to bring it back after assembling because there was a problem with the front brake - but they were so helpful and friendly - they checked out the entire bike and made every nut and bolt tight and perfect. It's not too heavy to put on a bike rack. I just love it!
