Don't think twice- just get it!

This is my first fixie, so I didn't want to spend a ton of cash in case it wasn't for me. Since you can set it up to be a dedicated fixed-wheel or coaster, it is easy to go between the two. Good quality for the price. Everything arrived undamaged and in only 4 days! Packed super well. Assembly was about an hour with proper tools, which you will need. This bike might be a little small if you are 6 feet or taller and wear over size 10 men's shoe (I'm both). Your feet will hit the front wheel when turning and pedaling at the same time due to the compactness of the frame. I usually just move my feet back on the pedal to avoid this minor inconvenience and will most likely put my clip on pedals on this bike to really keep my foot away from the wheel. Sounds like overkill for this bike, but I really dig it. Overall, this bike exceeds my expectations and would gladly recommend it. Very quick and maneuverable due to the compact frame. The first ride was a little stiff, but the bike is starting to loosen up nicely. It really takes on the rough roads as well as paved trails with the slightly wider tires. Good stuff!

Great fitness & Commuter bike!

I wanted to start riding a bike again for exercise only, and started shopping around for simple, low priced bike and saw this Kent online...Iv'e never rode a fixie type bike such as this one before, so I decided to give it a try. At the low price of $79.99, I knew I could not go wrong. To my amazement the bike shipped to the store within 2 days, and upon opening the box I was surprised no parts were damaged, but rather only a small scratch on the fork. Assembly was quite easy, that anyone can put it together within 15 minutes or so. The bike frame itself is sturdy and well built, while the parts are of fair quality. After riding two rides on the bike trail, I must say that the bike rides very smooth and quiet. Though it is called a fixie bike, it does not have a fixed gear hub, just single speed... This Kent bike is the perfect fitness bike and would make a great bike for those who need a bike for commuting.

Not bad for big guys

To start, I weigh over 300 pounds. Almost pushing 330 when I got the bike. I was hesitant to get any bike from this site because of my weight and the fact that most bikes built for my size are very expensive and Walmart doesn't sell them. The one feature that got me interested was that it has a steel frame, which is very important. For a hundred dollars, I think it was inexpensive, which was also another reason I was hesitant. I figured cheap price might mean cheap quality, but given the ratings, and some feedback I read from someone who is in the same weight range as me, I'm glad I bit the bullet and made the purchase. I have been wanting a bike for some time, and now I have one. So far, I haven't had any issues. The bike rides smooth, and you can get good speed with little effort, allowing you to cover great distances in short periods of time. I have thus far gone on a couple 5.5+ mile rides without issues in a short amount of time. Because it rides so well, I was able to complete them without being in too much pain or too worn out. So far, after about a week, I already lost about 6 pounds.
