Since the authorities are advising against Teflon, etc., and are fully supporting stainless steel, this small frypan (8") abswers the call. I just wish it had come with a matching top. While I am aware I can use my top that fits many different size pans, my preference would be for a separate top that matches this beautiful pan.

After much research, I have decided to start using stainless steel cookware. This is the first of my purchases. I love this pan, it generates the heat evenly, washes up great and now is one of my favorite pans. It comes with assembling the handle, and the 2 screws were a little hard for me because I have arthritis in my hands, but ny daughter was able to screw it on for me. This pan is a great price and I would highly recommend.

Nice set of Pans

I am phasing out pots and pans with teflon coating and going for stainless steel pots and pans. I had to screw the handles on after the package arrived which I thought was weird because usually the handles are attached but these were not. But other than that I love these pans. They are NOT non-stick. You have to add a good amount of butter if you cook things like eggs or pancakes or anything that could stick to the bottom in them. Sauces turn out great. They are easy to clean--I just put them in the dishwasher. Overall I am very happy with these pans.
