Mainstays Nonstick 8.4" x 4.4" x 2.4" Loaf Pan, Meatloaf and Bread Pan, Dark Gray

When assembling items for a modern functioning kitchen, it is important to have certain staple tools on hand for standard operations. One key item for the kitchen is loaf pan for baking breads and small cakes. The Mainstays product line has created a non-stick loaf pan that has worked very well for me. I occasionally bake for my family, and having a pan of this size and shape is perfect for banana bread, zucchini bread, or in my most recent endeavor, chocolate chip loaf cake. The pan fit the Krusteaz brand boxed muffin mix and allowed me to bake all of the batter in that one container. Due to the denseness of the batter, I did have to cook the loaf a bit longer than I would have the muffins, but this was much easier. The loaf baked evenly and came out beautifully. The loaf pan was easy to clean, and I’m sure I’ll be using this product again soon. The measurements of the pan include a length of 8.4”, but the pan is tapered, to the base of the length is shorter, about 7.5”. It’s recommended that the pan be hand-washed, not put in the dishwasher machine. It is also not to be used in freezer storage. Overall, I’m very pleased with this product.

I picked this item to do my review on because all I had was a glass loaf pan and it tended to stick. This loaf pan is NONSTICK for easy release of items and fast clean up. The pan is 8.4" L x 4.4 " W x 2.4 " H. Perfect for a small family . Great for meat loafs breads etc. I love the feel so I know its going to wash up best. You can buy larger ones at Walmart .Use hard rubber , silicone or wooden kitchen tools to avoid scratching and possibly ruining the finish. Hand wash Do Not dish was or use abrasives on loaf pan.
