I tried a different brand (Athletic Works Athletic Works Men's Crew Cushion Socks) and was completely dissatisfied with them. Even though they were the same size as the Fruit of the Loom socks, they were way too tight on my feet, ankles and lower legs. I gave those away. Fruit of the Loom Workgear crew socks are exactly what I wanted - comfortable, durable and long-lasting. I will only order Fruit of the Loom from now on.

Theyre like a dress sock with a sport sock bottom

The top part slides down and loose like a dress sock but the bottom is more like a regular sport sock. Great for wearing with boots and shorts. Very comfortable and so far hold up well. But if you want a sock that stays up/ holds your leg these arent it!
