I needed additional USB3 ports on my MacBook because arrogant Apple only gives you two - not nearly enough. I researched several hubs, and this one sounded best. I did not hold out much hope for this no-name product tbh, but to my delight it works perfectly. At least so far. A really cheap way to expand ports. I’m a happy camper.
