Secures up to 3 bicycles to any 2in Class III or IV hitch receiver for transportation. Designed to work with bicycles 50in to 76in long with a 2.25in maximum frame diameter. The entire 42 lb. rack will tilt downward, enabling access to the trunk or vehicle hatch. Not recommended for use with 1.25in trailer hitches. Maximum 100 lb. capacity.

What a bargain!
Great rack!!! Carries both our large, heavy e bikes with no problems. Very secure system at a fraction of the cost of the name brand carriers. I purchased the three bike carrier for the added space for the two larger e bikes. Although my bike has 4" tires, the rack still carries my bike securely with the tires riding on top of rack strapped down, with the provided straps.

Really solid bike rack. Easy to set up. I love the tilt away feature so I can open the tailgate with the bikes on the SUV. plenty of room to slide behind the rack and get at my stuff too. The support bars can be mounted on the sides of the back section too to accommodate womens and step through frames. I highly recommend this bike rack. Dont forget to arrange the support bars before mounting the first bike. Also load smallest to largest, it makes things much easier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Excellent Bike Rack
I purchased the Apex Deluxe Hitch Bike Rack - 3 Bike from DiscountRamps this past summer and have been very pleased with it. The rack is very solid and sturdy with very little or sway or bounce. I feel completely confident and secure hauling my bikes with this rack. What drove me to purchase this rack was the ability to set the bikes on the rack rather than having to hang them by the frame as with many other racks. Assembling the rack was very easy and it is easy to mount and unmount to your trailer hitch. Over the winter, I store the rack folded and completely assembled and hang it from my garage wall. I can easily remove it from my wall and have it mounted and ready to go within a few minutes. Overall, I think this is an outstanding value for the high-quality of the rack and the price as compared to many other racks on the market.
