This is nice mascara. I especially like the kind, gentle and healthy plant -based ingredients. I ordered the espresso. The color and consistency are very nice. It goes on more like a dense fluid but doesnt flake and the lashes look neatly fiinished and separated. I have not experienced any caking or powdering. I have sensitive eyes and have eye allergies. Fortunately I found that any eye irritation I have had when wearing this mascara was not due to the product but atmospheric allergens, etc. I did notice a little transfer under the lower lid on hot humid days or when a moist lotion or cream is applied to the eye. An eye makeup primer can be effective in controlling this, if it is tolerated. I think this product is a great value if you want to look and feel nice and are concerned for your eye health.
