Same League as the $700

This was the cheapest bench that was in the same league as the most expensive benches. Why was it in the same league as the most expensive benches? The large surface area in contact with the floor creates good balance, and good frequency oscillation dampening. But more importantly, the large surface area in the top catch allows for fuller extension of the arms closer to exhaustion. This allows for engagement of the abs, and for an actual athletic posture without risk of the bar going over the top of the catches and tearing the rotator cuffs. The cheaper benches don't have those effects. The bad paths the bar can take are to the sides if one arm weakens but the other doesn't, down towards the body if both arms weaken, and forward towards the waist. The side to side effect is rare, and so the reduction of negative paths leads to a fun experience. The half circle catch of cheaper benches compare to the high flange of the champion bench like a flatwing aircraft to a jet wing. Some expensive benches will let your arms tip back over the eyes before a safety catch engages, developing athleticism at lowering the hands below eye level. Thats bad form in my experience compared to keeping a bar below eye level and over the pecs. The resonant frequency is good and the seat cover is high quality, so its a good chair or nap bench especially in a small apartment. Its a timeless design that weighs less than more expensive options and takes up less space. The Texas seller identified it as 500 lb capacity. Reflective gray weavelike gloss over waterproof ceramiclike black layer over a complex whorled metal flecked with rust. The flat plane of the bench creates flat pecs, while an incline or decline bench creates more rounded breast-like pecs.
