Swiss Tech 28-inch Drop Forged Steel Axe with Hickory Handle, Gewahlt

I was interested in these when they first came out, but missed out. Every Walmart around was soon out of stock. They popped back up, a Walmart 40 minutes away said they had 3 in stock, according to the website. I made the drive, I like to pick one out after checking them out, best grain in the handle, etc. Of course they had ZERO. The associate said they were probably stolen if the computer said 3 %26 they had none. Anyway, while I'm standing there being sad, I noticed the website said in stock %26 free delivery. Stupid me! I ordered one right there in the store, it got here next day. I was kind of blown away when I opened the box. This thing is great. Head forged of 1055 carbon steel. Really good, took a hair popping edge in no time. The handle is about the best piece of American hickory I've seen, couldn't have hand picked a better one. Perfectly straight grain, no heart wood. The cover is good, does it's job. I even like the leather wrap though some people bag on it in reviews All in all 10 out of 10, great job Walmart even though the computer was wrong and I spent 2 hours for nothing, that was on me, could've just ordered it delivered in the first place. If you are interested in this and they have any in stock just ORDER IT. I doubt you will be disappointed. Thanks.

This axe seems to be very durable and constructed with high quality materials. I really like that it has a sheath, which is very convenient when storing or transporting the axe. The leather overstrike collar is also a good feature if you want to keep your handle protected and haven't swung an axe in awhile. Overall, this is actually a super nice axe for the price!
