This Lionel Thomas and Friends Diesel Locomotive can provide your little engineer with hours of imaginative play fun. The remote for each Thomas and Friends set is uniquely color-coordinated with the locomotives for convenience and easy operation. Distinct frequencies are available for different LionChief locomotives, allowing for multiple remote engines to run at the same time. LionChief locomotives can operate at the same time as any Legacy or TMCC-controlled engine on the same 18V powered layout and track (each sold separately). The included remote has a forward and reverse speed control knob, whistle and horn, bell and announcement buttons. This locomotive toy is also equipped with a powerful maintenance-free motor and traction tire for added stability. It requires three AAA batteries, which are not included.
