These spoons are heavy duty and durable. The box provides for great packaging and shipping. That is to say, not only did nothing arrive broken or chipped, but it has held up well to the constant hands reaching in to retrieve the spoons. (I cannot say the.same for some other brands' boxes!) If you wish to be financially savvy and/or eco-friendly, they handle being hand-washed very well for several uses. As mentioned above, they are also “durable,” in that they are heavy-duty enough to handle scooping frozen ice cream, while also being appropriate for a bowl of soup or some mashed potatoes. I am getting low on my own supply and actually came here today, planning to replenish my own inventory. I highly recommend.these spoons!
