Powerbuilt 3 Piece Zeon SAE Lug Nut Socket Set for Damaged Lug Nuts - 941436

I needed a thin wall deep 7/8" thin wall impact socket for wheels on a 5th wheel. The salesman said they didn't have any individual impact socket on hand in that size, but had this set. I liked the case and I've got marks on them from the sockets used so I appreciated the idea of the plastic sleeve. When I got them home, the socket would not fit on the lug nut with the sleeve in place. I noticed on the package that the sleeve was supposed to be removable, but I was unable to get the sleeve to move on any of the sockets. I took them back to the store and the manager worked really hard to try to remove them but finally concluded the sleeve was not removable so I pointed out the label and we tried another set and we were able to remove the sleeve for each of the sockets in a different set. So I would recommend checking that out soon enough after purchase for those instances where you may need to remove the sleeve. The other thing I found as a bit of a surprise is for a deep socket, if you have deep lug nuts, these will not fully seat onto the lug nut. I would prefer the socket fully enclose the lug nut, but it still seems to work fine. So to summarize, I'll give a 2 star for quality control, but five star for customer service and the packaging.
