Works, but definitely not ideal.

The switch works at the end of the day. It has the right connector, but it needed a few modifications to make it work. I had to trim off one of the four tabs in order to slide it in on my 2011 Mazda 3 hatch. Next issue was the length of the cable - about 4” shorter than the original. I had to rotate the connector on the car and reroute the cable to barely make it connect. Next issue was the the fact that the button doesn't stay in place. I had to reach it and place a cable tie around the switch from behind in order to secure it a little bit. At the end of the day, I got it to work, but I probably would not purchase this again for a 2011 Mazda 3.
