For summer heat, I have been looking for knee-length and below-the-knee skirts. I'm older and do not feel comfortable wearing shorts anymore. But wearing long pants in the heat is so horrible! This is perfect and it's really well made. One surprise is that it has an uneven hem, with a slant to one side. But the fabric is very thin and it flows nicely. Also, when I first held it up, I thought it would not fit, despite my choosing a recommended size. But when I put it on, the waist band stretched nicely, without cutting and it's very comfortable. Also, it flows nicely so I don't think it will cling, even in the heat. I am very happy.
