First the good: The hamper arrived quickly, and it looks like the picture. It gets compliments, and would be an excellent purchase if it was built to any kind of reasonable standard.
The Bad: It arrived with a 1/2" chunk missing near the rear left hinge. Not ideal, but I couldn't even imagine the cost to ship this thing back the seller, so I decided to live with it.
After a few days, I noticed more and more tension on the area with the piece missing to the point that it no longer fully opens unless I deliberately and forcefully push the lid back over that spot which isn't always easy with an armful of clothing.
I could probably even overlook that inconvenience if everything else functioned adequately. But what else could possibly go wrong with a hamper, right?
Excellent question: The included laundry bag that snaps in and out of place fell to pieces within 2 weeks. Every single grommet has fallen off. And lets face it; With a lid that barely opens, I wasn't exactly giving this thing a workout.
Nice looking item, but it's been a lot more trouble than it's worth, so I'll be moving on. Lesson learned; You get what you pay for.
