Due to neck, shoulder and lower back problems I cannot use a big purse. But most smaller ones are just one big bag and not crossbody. So I was delighted to find this one that is just right. Big enough to fit all those little things women carry for everyone else lol. There is a zippered area on the front flap that holds all of my keys and ink pens very nicely. The zippered pocket in the inside back lining is large enough to put those individual wet wipes, tampon, mirror, nail file, nail clippers, business cards and such to keep them tidy and handy. The two pockets in the inside front are amazingly large. Easily large enough for an iPhone. The other one keeps my eye drops, chap stick, hand sanitizer, travel size aspirin, travel size hand lotion, and my husband's extra pills and a couple pieces of candy upright and within easy reach in case of a diabetic emergency. The main inside pocket is left to hold his glucose meter, kleenex, sunglasses, and wallet with room to spare. The strap is plenty long enough to go around this plus size body without being up under my armpit. Or you can shorten it up to use as a handbag if you want. The idea that one side of the strap can be unclipped to fasten around a shopping cart or between slats on the back of a chair to prevent theft or it falling onto the sticky floor of a restaurant is a plus. The "leather" is really soft and feels good while being easy to wipe clean. But it is really a very soft vinyl coating as I found out after over ten years with my last bag. It had begun to fray on the edges and the vinyl was starting to flake off. I wanted another one, but going to the Ampere Creations website, they had none even listed. I thought they had stopped making them. So I was thrilled to find this on Walmart. I bought two more just to put back for later if they ever do stop selling these!
