PetSafe Drinkwell Replacement Filter Pack for Outdoor Dog Water Fountain, 3 Carbon Filters & 1 Foam Filter

Been using the Outdoor Fountain & Filters for over four years. I recommend washing, cleaning the fountain every 5-7 days in cooler weather and 3-5 days in warmer/hot weather. I replace the carbon filters every 10-15 days. In between that time, I'll remove the carbon and foam filters and rinse them off with cool water (no soap!). The foam filter will catch my four Labrador Retrievers hair, dirt and debris from getting in the water pump. I like to use COLD water on the foam filter and hit it up against the side of the sink a few times to loosen hair and dirt. If you use hot water, you'll soften or weaken the foam filter and tear it while cleaning. I follow PetSafe's recommendations to clean the water pump. I still have the original pump, so it pays to clean the filters and pump frequently. Overall, the Drinkwell Outdoor Fountain is a great investment. My "woofers" drink plenty of water and like the fountain with easy access to water.
