Black Diamond Stoneworks’ Concrete Sealer is an architectural grade new high-performance technology driven, silane/siloxane blended product that bonds with the minerals in concrete and masonry to provide long-lasting water repellency. It is a clear breathable, deep penetrating water-based and It is ideally suited for concrete where maximum chloride ion (de-icing salts) protection is needed. Black Diamond Stoneworks’ Concrete Driveway Sealer is a breathable, non-film forming, concrete sealer that will not alter surface color or appearance. Allows moisture within the concrete to escape without adverse effects to the sealer. Does not trap moisture. Works great on other hard surfaces including, cement, grout, stucco, split-faced block, brick, pavers, and natural stone. Covers up to 25 to 50 sq. ft. Per quart. Easy cleanup - simply use soap and water directly after application and make sure to clean any overspray on glass and decorative metals. Directions: Apply using a brush, paint roller, or low-pressure pump sprayer. Before applying, the surface should be clean and free of any contaminants (dust, dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, paint/coatings, efflorescence, etc.) Apply the first coat heavily, and if the surface starts to dry apply more sealer. Continue to do this for 5-10 minutes. Wait 10 more minutes and wipe up any sealer left on the surface. DO NOT allow the product to puddle and dry on the surface or it will become tacky. To achieve the best performance, a second coat should be applied after 15-20 minutes and before the concrete is completely dry. This is called a wet-on-wet application. A minimum of 24 hours should be allowed before the treated surface comes in contact with water. Maximum water repellency will occur approximately 48—72 hours after application, depending on the curing conditions. Our Concrete Sealer can perform up to ten years on some applications, but we recommend re-applying between 5-7 years to ensure the best results.
