As a young boy from a small city in Georgia, I was exposed to a significant amount of domestic violence, child abuse and gangs. Despite the discouragement I received at the hands of others, I was able to turn my tragedies into victories. Overcoming obstacles in life led me to become a retired veteran and successful entrepreneur. Inside are heart-wrenching accounts of traumatic events that I have experienced along with doses of inspiration on how I made it through and ways you can too. It is my hope that my story inspires my readers to push through any form of adversity they may face and to bring about change.
