My dental hygienist recommended the little brushes between my teeth. It took me a while to correctly bend and use them, both from the outside in and from the inside out. But when I got it right finally, the problems spots on my gums went away. I've learned I have to use two different sizes, tight for some narrower spots and medium for some slightly wider spots.
