My dogs weighs 70lbs with the build kinda like a doberman. I bought the 3XL size. It seems a little large but the next size down may have been a little too tight and I didn't want to chance it. Overall, this fits well. My dog acts comfortable in it, being his first coat. The velcro closures make it easy to adjust the fit and it seems to be well made. The hole for the leash clasp is situated more for a harness than a regular collar. At least on my dog it is. Would buy again if I have to.

i really lke the way it's made with a belt that goes around my dog and it's not easy to lose. She's a dog who loves to run in the woods around our house and she normally loses 2 coats a year, I think this year is different. She is a medium size dog 35-40 lbs. The coat fits okay however i was hoping for a little more coverage. I could not find a size chart when I bought it so I crossed my fingers in hopes that it fit? All that was available was large and ex-large, the photo of the coat was on a very large dog which I assumed was an ex-large?
