A must-see movie

This movie is an excellent example of ideology meets reality. It's the story of a scientist sent to gather evidence that wolves are decimating the caribou population. In reality, what he finds is something completely different. This movie is based on the book of the same title by Farley Mowat. Like all movies based on good books I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you read this book before you see this movie. The movie is very faithful to the book, and Carroll Ballard does an excellent job of interpreting the story for the screen, but there are tons of details left out of the movie I believe a fan of this story would like to know.

Beautiful picture

Never Cry Wolf is a movie about Wolf in the Wilderness filmed in British Colombia. Acting is great and the cinematography beautiful. This is a story about nature and the impact of man on his environment. The movie is over 20 years old, but the questions it raises and the story told are so modern than no recent movies did a better job since in carrying the message. Try also The Bear and Fly Away home.

Totally enetrtaining

I got this movie to show my biology students the significance of scientific inquiry - an example of expeditions that are not well planned. Along with a worksheet, while watching this movie in class, you can hear a pin drop.
