Uses Coralife® UV Replacement Lamps. A water pump is needed and not included with the Turbo-Twist®. Available in multiple sizes to accommodate a variety of aquarium sizes. Follow instructions and maintenance schedule.
Follow the instructions. Leak check prior to turning on lamp and this unit will be rock solid for a fraction of the cost of now advertised units. I've used the older version of the 6x for 18 years without issue until it failed due to a faulty water pump not pushing water through the unit thus allowing it to overheat and eventually cracked the quartz sleeve. Purchased the same newer model and works fine with no leaks on a 135 gallon marine tank.
