Restored Bose SoundSport Free Wireless Sport Headphones Black 7743730010 (Refurbished)

Foolishly I signed up for the National 3 Peaks which meant I needed to spend time training! To take my mind off the pain, I went for a set of wireless headphones which after 6 weeks went in the bin as I was so sick of their inability to stay in my ears and the poor sound quality. I decided to upgrade to a set of Bose SoundSport Free headphones…..I was not disappointed! The first thing for me was that they actually stay in your ears and that was doing a variety of different things in the gym such as running, spin classes and weights. I thought that the dreaded star jumps would dislodge them but they didn't budge! When I first put them in, it felt like I was wearing one of those Bluetooth ear pieces for your mobile phone!!! However in a very short time, they felt very natural and you hardly know you have them in. They come with S/M/L buds which you need to make sure that you trial to get the best fit possible for you. They suffer no loss in performance or quality from either the sweat worked up in the gym or from the rain when I have been running outside As for Battery life, it's advertised as 5 hours however my work outs never lasted more than 2 hours so could not actually confirm whether they did or not. The headphones come in a sleek black case which also acts as a charger for them. You can get at least 2 full charges (10 hours) each from a fully charged case so based on my current training, I will need to charge every 2 weeks which is absolutely fine….if you need a quick charge, 15mins charge will give you 45mins use of the headphones. In terms of connecting the headphones to your music device, in my case an iphone which has the Bose Connect app on it, it was a simple, into the app, select the headphones and pull down on the screen and I was good to go. You can use the app to find your headphones if you have lost them and get them to play a sound so you can locate them. It will also time stamp when were last connected. On the right headphone is the volume, call answer/end button which is sturdy and does not dislodge the headphone when you push them. On the left headphone is the Bluetooth connect. Whilst using these to date, I have experienced no drop out of Bluetooth between my iPhone and the headphones which is great. What also makes these special is the sound quality and clarity which for me, was fantastic. Even though I had them on full volume, the sound quality and tone does not deteriorate. They are not too bass heavy and whilst not noise cancelling certainly cancelled some of the immediate noise that you normally get in a gym. I have not used them for anything else other than training as I already own a pair of Bose QC35 for the home and when I am travelling. If you are spending your time in the gym and like listening to music, podcasts or audiobooks whislt training, I totally recommend these headphones. Yes they are expensive, but they are top of the range headphones with great, sturdy design and amazing sound quality so I consider this to be an investment as you will have them for years to come.

Loving this sound sports free wireless (SFW). I owned the sound sports as well. But this is more unique and of course no trailing wires. The case fits in the palm of your hands and the case charges the earphones. The ability to find your earplugs via the find me app is very reassuring. Diffinately recommend it for all athletes or even for the gym. Very discreet for the office as well. You can have only one earphone in makes it great !
