This is the perfect addition to my garden. It works well and sounds great. Fairly easy to put together. Directions could've included a bit more info but I figured it out. In my unit there was a small plug in the hose. This caused slow flow in the tubing. Slow flow= no sound. Just water flowing slowly. Once I pushed the small plug out using a pen the water flowed extremely well. The pump is quite sufficient even at low setting. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Birds are starting to find it to get a drink. I did get bigger stones for the base
