The texture of these panels were a pleasant surprise. Arrived in perfect condition no wrinkles. The backing is thin and allow some filtered light in but blocks most of the glare. I love the this airyness of these panels they give solid coverage with a linen look. I highly recommend if you want a cool calming effect in your room. The panels are very nice for someone looking to spruce a room up on a budget very elegant but affordable I'm already searching for another panel pair to complete the other windows in my bedroom. I definitely recommend!

My living room and kitchen face the West. I was getting a LOT of heat through the windows even with my mini blinds closed. I am a new home owner and need to conserve my A/C for the first year to find out what my electric bill is going to be, so I bought these and I have to say the heat is gone!! I am VERY pleased with them and that color is just beautiful! I bought the small white tension rods to hang them so when it's not so hot I can take them down and enjoy the cooler weather, with windows open and Sun shining in. You can not go wrong with this product, they are 100% awesome! And btw, I do conserve on my lights and try to keep my thermostat between 76-77 degrees and at this time of year (May), it's not the hottest part of the year here in S.E. Texas, so now with a 1,100 sq. ft. home, my electric bill that will be due June 2nd, is $64! I know it would be higher if I did not have these drapes! I'm happy!
