The fabric is medium weight and stretchy. The lining is soft and warm. They are constructed well for long use. They wash and dry perfectly with no need for extra attention. The open bottom is more comfortable since it doesn't ride up like the gathered ones. He really likes them and wears them a lot. This was a hit!
