Compact and Bright
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My spouse has been interested in wanting to install a light over his workbench. We decided to install the Linear LED High Bay 5000K HML1 110-Watt Light Fixture from Nicor. This high performance High Bay light has a measurement of 14 1/8 inches long by 10 1/4 inches wide. It has a lot of brightness for being so compact. It may be compact, but offers the same high performance as a full-size fixture. I like that my husband only needed a screwdriver and a pair of wire cutters to install this kit. It came with everything else he needed. The directions are very easy to read and follow along with. They even included pictures. The whole installation took him less than 20 minutes. This single piece cast aluminum housing is durable and perfect for his garage. It comes with a V-hook and chain mounting system, so the height of the chains can be adjusted a little to fit his space perfectly. I like that if he needed the option, the DLC 5.1 premium fixture is equipped with a built-in 0 to 10 volt dimming capability. It is also damp location rated, meaning it is designed to withstand moist environments. It lights quickly and looks neat and clean once installed. Overall, he is very happy with the outcome, saving energy and money.
