The rear Trunk latch can't be closed, lock, or unlocked remotely. The latch actuator was broken/damaged. How to Install the Rear Trunk Lid Lock Latch Actuator? Remove the guard plate. Take the trunk release cable and side pin, and loosen the install bolts. Link the new latch and tight bolts, and connect the cable and pin. The above is for reference, please check the relevant replacement video when you are in doubt. Notice: This is a NON-OEM product, accessory only!
