I ordered this keyboard with Gateron brown switches and have been thoroughly enjoying typing. The RGB lighting on this keyboard is so lovely. There is additional software available to control the lighting with from the manufacturer, but you will have to search on reddit, google, or womier/gamakay videos on youtube for the link to download it from. Additionally, there are media keys available as well. The keyboard for me didn't come with a manual, but if you look on reddit for the full list of media keys, you come out with this: - Fn-F1 explorer - Fn-F2 email - Fn-F3 search - Fn-F4 new browser - Fn-F5 media player - Fn-F6 play/pause - Fn-F7 previous - Fn-F8 next - Fn-C calculator - Fn-M mute - Fn-, volume down (key with "<" on it) - Fn-. volume up (key with ">" on it) Additionally, if you want to set the backlight to a solid color, you'll have to push Fn the left Control key until you see the backlight turn static/still. When you reach that setting, push Fn Left Arrow key and you will see the entire keyboard turn a solid color. From there, your options to have the top lighting be a different color would be cycling through Fn Page Down, or Fn End, and using Fn Right Arrow key to further fine tune the available colors. If you want to return back to using the full rainbow effect, just repeat the same steps you used to change the backlight into a static/still pattern (cycling through Fn Left Control key), and then once again push Fn Left Arrow key until you regain the rainbow RGB lighting. I still recommend doing a little extra work to search through reddit or google to find the google-drive software link for the gamakay software which will do the hard work for you, but that's all pretty much all you need to know. Fantastic little keyboard. The switches are fun to type with. The keycaps are textured interestingly and further make it fun to type. And the lighting rocks! The switches are hotswapable which means that you can later on switch in different switches of your choice, no soldering required. It's an lovely mechanical keyboard at an excellent price, and I'm very happy with this purchase. The keyboard arrived in good time and good condition. I strongly recommend it if you'd like an improvement to a membrane keyboard. It's more ergonomic and more pretty too.
